A 12 week practical, hands-on ministerial training for ministers and pastors. This course is most effective in training core church leadership who will not be attending formal Theological programs, but need to be active in local church ministry. Students can enroll on their own or be sent by their pastor. This robust program allows pastors to strengthen the core leadership of their churches by multiplying the number of leaders who can effectively and with integrity operate as licensed ministers. This course does not license or ordain ministers, but rather prepares potential ministers for the licensing and ordination within their own church's oversight.
The training includes:
- Preaching - Biblical study principles thematically and contextually
- Altar Ministry - Transitioning a message into an altar call, appropriate prayer for both minister and altar workers
- Weddings - Pre-Marital counseling, Ceremony preparation, Leading a rehearsal, officiating a wedding ceremony, legal requirements
- Funerals - Meeting with the family, preparing a funeral service, writing a eulogy, protocols for both homegoing and graveside services
